TouchPoint Design creates a website design by working with your team to learn about your advertising program, product design, logo, current website, projected content, perceived audience and future plans for the site. Additionally, we will work with your advertising and public relations agencies to assure your website communicates effectively and has a look and feel in harmony with your other marketing investments.

Web Design Composites

Our design team will present composites of the planned design. These are simply electronic pictures (Adobe Photoshop files) that provide a way for you and your staff to work with the website designers to initiate, adjust and finalize a design. Your composites communicate an accurate picture of what the site will look like, the colors, style and the navigation that is to be developed. In some cases, your website will include Flash movies. To communicate ideas for Flash movies we create storyboards (multiple frames of the movie) that helps us communicate our intended design.

Website Text Style and Content Imagery

Creative communication of your message in text and graphics also requires harmony and focus. Choosing the right font styles, colors and sizes blended with graphic pictures has proven to significantly improve both comprehension and interest in your website. Styles can include table layout, list properties, and page title. Picture graphics can include charts, photographs and splash graphics (picture composites) which illustrate and support the web page topic.

Web Navigation Design

If only you could find the data you want on a website! How you set up navigation will significantly impact your website's success. TouchPoint Design works with your team to determine how your web users are expected to use the data on the site. The content and how it is used provide the basis for your web navigation scheme. The navigation design is typically reinforced with scripting technology (JavaScript and Dynamic HTML) that will highlight a button or link when your users have “moused over” it, indicating the page or section they are currently viewing, or drop-down menus which gives an expanded look at the contents of the site.
